Probably not a popular opinion, this. But, honestly? I have to agree that the writers kind-of ruined Demolishor's character in TF Energon (never mind Cyclonus/Snow Cat and Tidal Wave/Mirage). I mean, we start off with Demolishor, currently in an alliance with the Autobots at the time as he's questioning his own loyalties, in a personal conflict within himself. Now THAT'S good character personality, in my opinion. -sigh- But of course, after Demolishor sacrifices his own spark to save Megatron, the Decepticon leader's gratitude comes in the form of resurrecting Demolishor as a, well... basically, a bundling idiot, and nowhere near as funny as Bebop OR Rocksteady! Well, I suppose turning him into a rampaging moron was the price for failure... Still, I know the toy manufacturers needed to make a new Demolishor figure that's compatible with the Energon Stars. But still, despite how oddly surreal that second design looks, couldn't he have at-least retained his more restrained personality?! And frankly, looking back at both designs... Yeah, I definitely prefer the original Demolishor over that wheeled gorilla, because he's not just there for poor comedic effect (plus, the bright green/purple colour scheme does look pretty nice on the original). Same with Cyclonus and Tidal Wave, they really should've stayed the same as well (even though Snow Cat and Mirage do look fairly decent also, only in design). So yeah, looking back, I do prefer Demolishor as he was at first.

Although, it's pretty awkward at this point, because the "reformatted" Demolishor is the only version I have a figure of in this particular line... Awkward, right? X3
