Description
Owltober 26th!It was high time I did another Owltober piece that I was actually proud of in some way. I've also been wanting to enter the Autumn Colors contest over at #Birds-Club for some time now ( [link] ), so I thought I'd attack that before the month ended on me.
As an added bonus, I've always liked paper cut-out art like ~Sugar-Bot 's work, so I figured I'd take a crack at the effect minus all the tedious paper-cutting. One day I'll man-up and do it for reals, but at least the watercolour textures were homemade.

You could have fooled me, I thought this WAS real cut paper! That's a magnificent pose and I really enjoy how you've got it encircled with the little leaves

This would be the cutest thing to have printed on a plate or something.

Hah, I've never thought of printing on plates. Cute idea! I wonder if anyone offers a service like that, in the growing sea of printing services out there.

Owltober has left me sorely wishing for an adorable owl plush, so I can pretend all these cute owls actually want to be cuddled and not to tear my eyes out like the predatory badasses they are. XD

That's really cute! I've been digging all your owls this month.
Cute patterns and nice colors.
I tried my hand at digital paper "cutting" before. I liked the look and how much faster it is to complete. The only thing I miss is holding the finished project in my hands. Seeing and feeling the layers.

Thanks, I'm glad you've been liking 'em! ā„
Oh, no doubt the physical end-product is a super cool fruit of your labour. I have a couple small ACEOs that I tried it out on to a limited degree, but nothing nearly as large-scale as I've seen you tackle. @-@

Thank you! ā„ Sadly I was too lazy to look up a specific species, so I just gave it features that seemed owl-like, haha. xD
And not to worry, I'll be keeping your sis in mind for a dedication on the next owltober! x]
