Nice piece.Accurately wrought.
I can't help but comment:
Compare this to the Chambered Nautilus Shell.
See what a large distance there is between the end of the line on the left and the edge of the central spiral on the right?
It's readily obvious that this particular growth spiral opens way faster than the Nautilus shell, and still we see time and time again in the popular literature that they are supposed to be identical growth spirals...NOT !
Sorry for my rant...

The Nautilus shell is logarithmic. Completely different algorithm.

Thank you!
Yes, I've never understood that either, I guess sometimes people really want to see what they want to see, and no problem

Very nice. I love this photo too. This is two pieces of art in one. I like to try to make my photos of art work artistic also.

Thank you! It was more of a matter of convenience because I was already outside taking photos of some metal candy canes i made hanging on a spruce. But yeah, having all my photos on rock or just white starts getting boring after a while

that's an excellent idea, but i'd have to make it all out of golden rectangles

is that not big enough?
I was thinking that would make like a 1 piece cuff. Bend it and smooth out the edges

no its only 3in long unfortunately, if i made it longer i'd have to make it much wider to keep the ratio
