Way cool!
Also, why couldn't I find this image in your Gallery?

Thank you, it is the cherry tree you can see in some other photos as well like in the Fibonacci spiral one. By the way, I've been wondering why I haven't heard from you in so long, how are you doing?

Blech isn't good, though I'm not exactly jumping from joy either I'll be sending you a care package as soon as I get the proper settings. Do you want ones you can hang from rings/wire or you gonna start soldering again?

Uh? I think I'm in class so I'll have access to torches again. So I could try simple soldering.

Excellent You're gonna love these stones. Do you know my flickr? If you wanna see some WIPs (using a cab from you) and the micro fasteners I just received in the mail [link]
recommended the site for micro screws and also said I'll be hooked, I think I already am

What are you going to do with the micro screws? I like the picture with the piece int he calipers.

The one with the shiny ball? Those are the sterling 8mm single hole beads I think I told you about
The micro screws are the same size as what I salvage from the cameras and use in my pieces, now I can place threaded holes wherever I need, If you look at the "back in black - explained" here on dA you'll see that I started mounting bezels on threaded rod and also on micro screws, so it is basically modular stone setting and a combination of threaded and soldered fastening.

Well, when you only have a few marbles left I figure it's a good time to start conserving them

That's why I sometimes do simple wraps with marbles, it's the easiest way to hold onto them!
