Right now my goal is to finish at least one photoshop commission per week until they're all done. 8D The icons and doodles are much easier to finish but somehow I haven't gotten around to those SO MAYBE I'll do one icon per day also. That sounds easily done.

I fav'd this a long while back but I'm just now getting around to actually commenting on it. Where to start? I simply LOVE your cell shading. All those tones and shades, overlapping and crossing in all the right places, fascinate me to no end. I tend to get lost trying to digest all the possible layers and gradients, especially on the forelegs and face. Every time I look at this picture I feel inspired to try your kind of shading, even though I'm scared to and don't have a very steady hand... I wish I could just point to stuff in the pic and say: "I love that shape and placement" or "I love the color transitions here." It's like a treasure trove of details and colored shapes to get lost in as I think about how they all seem so random yet combine to create such astounding shading. 
sorry for writing you this essay, but I have an observation about the (character's) left hind leg. the right one has a line coming down from the middle of the pad, but the left one doesn't. It almost looks like you forgot to draw a part of the foot, and half the pad is hanging in the air. If that was an intentional thing, you can totally ignore this part of the comment and I'm sorry I made you read that

Oh I see what you mean about the line. It's not really part of the character design, more of a line to represent that the bottom of the foot isn't completely flat, but yeah I should've put it on the other foot too.

It was more about the the foot itself, rather than the line, I just didn't know how else to describe it. To me, it looks like it might've been there at the sketch but got lost somewhere in the inking.
