This will be updated soon!Dhe is in my webcomic, Eclipse, but that's not his main story. I actually did a project in school which helped make up the backstory for him and Kuro, which is called Demon Dhe (how original right).
I can't find which picture I wrote about his sword in, but to summarize:
Takes place in the far past where demons were common. Father killed mother after finding out she was a werewolf, raised Dhe since he was his only son, Dhe ran away from the abuse, father found him, tried to kill him at night by stabbing him, got away, killed any remaining human part of Dhe so he lives on as a demon, but his father assumes he's dead. Now Dhe promises to kill his father when he finds him, but is actually avoiding that since he's scared, and Kuro helps him realize he needs to face his fears............since Kuro....is the......last gargoyle....
In the actual story, Dhe's never a wolf. He has a wolf form because I wanted to draw him as a wolf.
Um.........I think that's it...for the fun of it, his wolf form usually has blood everywhere, but human form has bandages wrapped everywhere. He feeds a lot obviously since he bleeds, but only on animals.

Does it occour to you how much a sword through the body would limit movement, whether or not it causes pain / damages internal organs / goes through muscle and ligaments? Poor thing wouldn't even be able to lay down properly due to it's position. I really doubt one could just "accept that".

There's an entire story to Dhe, I didn't just stick a sword through him to be popular. I'm saving it for my webcomic because it sounds silly and cliche when explained without a huge amount of backstory.

It's only slightly ridiculous for the story. He's not a wolf either, I didn't realize we were commenting on his wolf form. This is his true character:[link] and this guy: [link] manipulates dark magic so the sword isn't in.."effect" for so nobody notices it, but he easily bleeds from his chest if it's touched in any way. It's just a character flaw to make his scenarios more interesting.

Stop being so damn self conscious and crap. You're far past the stage where you can flip out over how bad your artwork is. You said you see little things as your eyes learning faster then your hands right? So don't worry. With that attitude you'll be able to fix things in a jiff, even though there's rarely anything for you to fix. Heh. Dhe. I always thought it was pronounced 'Deh'. I love the way his toes are coloured, and not the rest of his feet. The lip piercing's a nice touch. Oh, and I read the story of how he got that sword in the chest... Clever backstory. Spaces pirates for the win.
As for the whole critique thing, you have your own type of anatomy, most people do. His expression is great.
