This will be updated soon!Dhe is in my webcomic, Eclipse, but that's not his main story. I actually did a project in school which helped make up the backstory for him and Kuro, which is called Demon Dhe (how original right).
I can't find which picture I wrote about his sword in, but to summarize:
Takes place in the far past where demons were common. Father killed mother after finding out she was a werewolf, raised Dhe since he was his only son, Dhe ran away from the abuse, father found him, tried to kill him at night by stabbing him, got away, killed any remaining human part of Dhe so he lives on as a demon, but his father assumes he's dead. Now Dhe promises to kill his father when he finds him, but is actually avoiding that since he's scared, and Kuro helps him realize he needs to face his fears............since Kuro....is the......last gargoyle....
In the actual story, Dhe's never a wolf. He has a wolf form because I wanted to draw him as a wolf.
Um.........I think that's it...for the fun of it, his wolf form usually has blood everywhere, but human form has bandages wrapped everywhere. He feeds a lot obviously since he bleeds, but only on animals.

Dhe's always been my favorite character of yours.. I just adore the simplicity of his design, and yet he's like no other character I've ever seen (with our without the sword xD)

Aw, I always wondered why you wanted crits discouraged so much. For a second I thought it was because you were one of those arists that let popularity go to your head..(no offense D8;; I couldn't think of any other way to put it I know you're not like that.). I never thought of sensitivity. But yeah now that I think of it I kind of hate getting crits too because they do make you feel pretty bad :[, its just I KNOW I need them so... xD;; I learned to take them. (I still feel kind of bad though it's like, someone constantly pointing out all your mistakes)
And you're updating A LOT .o. I'm really exited about that, I love looking at your stuff. And for some reason I really really love reffrences <3
And that sword, is.... D8.... I love it. That's all I'm gonna say. And I love the gravity you put into the blood, it makes it look real. Also The symetry on the face is perfect.
And I just realised I leave super long comments to you on everything 8[ I should stop that.

Well, if a really talented artist gave me critiques I'd actually be honored that they care to help me. But. When someone...who isn't all that great...gives me a bunch of critiques, it just makes me feel like crap. ^-^; I actually ask some of my friends to critique me sometimes since they're calm about it.
And hey, I love long comments. Especially ones that I can reply to. =]

Yeah I ask my friends to give me crits all the time (actually just one friend really that knows a lot about art) because honestly NO ONE gives me crits :[ it's always "OMG CUTE" or "this is so awesome" never anything that I can fix or what not. I even crit myself in the desc sometimes because it helps me but then sometimes people take that as being 'emo' about a drawing and I justy get MORE "nono it looks PERFECT" comments Dx.... blah. (not that I dont love them it's just :[.... I WANT to improve)
I love giving crits for some reason, but yeah I feel bad sometimes when the artist is about 10 times better then me and I see things wrong and give a few crits because sometimes people take that as me just nitpicking out of jealousy :<. If I ever gave you a crit you didn't appreciate I'm sorry xD;;, I just can't help myself sometimes, but I DO read the little font thats says "adv Crit, crits discouraged" and so on and honor those as best I can.

*deep breath*
Well..the story goes along with Dhe's human form. When he was little he found out that he can walk in the sun, something that his dad couldn't do since he was a vampire. He ran away when he was a teenager and his father found him and stabbed him, but all that did was kill his human blood. His demon/werewolf heart kept him alive instead of becoming a full vampire but he couldn't go in the sunlight any longer, making it easier for his dad to find and kill him at night. Aaaaand...eventually...he realizes that, builds a ship and becomes a space pirate. He keeps his sword in him to remind him of how much he wants revenge.

But I thought of the same thing when I first read the word Anime, I thought it was pronounced Ann-Im But it's really pronounced Ann-Im-Ay. We're just too lazy to put accentegues (sp?) on our e's. xD
