This will be updated soon!Dhe is in my webcomic, Eclipse, but that's not his main story. I actually did a project in school which helped make up the backstory for him and Kuro, which is called Demon Dhe (how original right).
I can't find which picture I wrote about his sword in, but to summarize:
Takes place in the far past where demons were common. Father killed mother after finding out she was a werewolf, raised Dhe since he was his only son, Dhe ran away from the abuse, father found him, tried to kill him at night by stabbing him, got away, killed any remaining human part of Dhe so he lives on as a demon, but his father assumes he's dead. Now Dhe promises to kill his father when he finds him, but is actually avoiding that since he's scared, and Kuro helps him realize he needs to face his fears............since Kuro....is the......last gargoyle....
In the actual story, Dhe's never a wolf. He has a wolf form because I wanted to draw him as a wolf.
Um.........I think that's it...for the fun of it, his wolf form usually has blood everywhere, but human form has bandages wrapped everywhere. He feeds a lot obviously since he bleeds, but only on animals.

Aww, I know, critiques are hard, I can't even count how many times last year my work, which I spent hours slaving over, got ripped to shreds in front of my entire class. It hurts, but you need to keep in mind that critiques really help you improve, it's not personal. Although I understand how you feel and where you're coming from, I don't think you should cut constructive criticism off completely. Hopefully in time, you'll be able to not only take a critique, but actually be inspired to do better, and see every time you pick up your pencil as an opportunity to improve and basically kick sand in the eyes of the critiquer and prove them wrong!
I shudder to think what would happen if I were to go to conceptart.org and ask for critiques, I hope I have enough courage in the future to go though.
As far as the reff sheet goes, I don't see anything wrong with it, anatomy looks fine to me, sword looks great actually. I also didn't know about his name, I was pronouncing it like the letter, always made me think of Vampire Hunter D. I learned something

Try not to get upset when your work is critiqued. Thats just part of being an artist. Remember that crits are meant to help you get better by pointing out things that you may not have noticed. The people who leave you critiques are only trying to help you grow into a better artist.
I don't know whether or not you're in art school, but if you decide to go then you'll really need to grow some thick skin. Most, if not all art schools have sessions where the entire class critiques your work. Plus if you get a job in any art field you will receive critiques almost if not everyday.

Thanks for that, but I've found that learning things myself gives me more pride in what I'm drawing. I've no problem with real-life people critiqing me but if a 10 year old online tells me things wrong with my picture while they can't even draw a decent animal, I'm going to be upset.
