Description
Tulip from Fallout 3 forFixed her nose, but it still bothers me, and added a rosy tint. I forgot to mention that I did NOT use a reference, so she might look a bit different than the real Tulip, which is intentional. Wilted Flower asked for her looking "all pretty", thus I created Tulip looking the way she does.

Tulip is one of my favorite NPCs and this is a lovely picture of her, and a lovely picture in an of itself. Your pencils are so expressive.

I can understand where you're coming from in terms of in-game mistakes. But, to make them look as awesome as you did, and 'three-dimensional,' I suppose it'd cost too much money.

The tulip plants themselves are a wonderful touch to the piece, and the textures on her skin are very well done!

I actually think that if they were real they would look more so like this, the eyes and skin textures on the game bothered the crap out of me. They had brains showing but not their skulls or big dents where it would be for the brain to show (since the brain is inside the skull). they made all their eyes and mouths to small for their head size in the game as well (especially Charon). I dunno it really just bothered me a lot.

You're right, alot of stuff seemed to be anatomically incorrect. I doubt if they had brains exposed they'd live for long. There are many medical photos of people with massive amounts of missing skin which you can find on google. If I wasn't lazy I would have used those as reference...:/

I actually used a lot of medical google searches for that too, lol! I am trying to write a fan story for Fallout set 40 years after the FO3 game and I wanna have the main character try find a why to lessen the stigma for the poor ghouls... god I feel so bad for them all :/

If I may ask, how did you search for the pictures needed to help draw ghouls? I've never and I'd love to give it a shot through medical references.. could you give me a helpful pointer?

Well for me I just looked at pictures of muscles since most of their skin in decomposed exposing the muscles anyways. Certain photos of radiation burns in general show very close to the ways the ghouls look in Fallout. I mean its not full body radiation just like Feet, Neck or Arms but it gives a general idea of what it would look like.

Tulip was one of my favourite Ghouls, and this is a very nice rendition of her C: Not sure why, but I like the whole one clear eye one clouded eye thing you did. And the tulips around her look great.

Thank you! Actually the clear and clouded thing came by accident. I drew the clear one first, forgetting that ghouls have clouded eyes (because in my Dynamic Duo I drew Charon with normal eyes.) Rather than erasing it though, I kept it.

It's a ghoul from Fallout 3. They are people suffering from massive amounts of radiation poisoning but have not died.
