OMG.
I say "Final," but I might go back and touch this up later when I've had a bit of a breather from it.
Note: I am not this pretty in IRL. This painting has no acne, is wearing makeup and doesn't have frizzy hair. :3
Finally, an update over the one I did in 2005: [link] ...kinda nice to see progress between the two. This is a much better likeness as well.

Wow... just Wow. I don't know where to start. I am in complete awe. self portraits are incredibly hard, I think you're very succesful with this one. It's well proportioned and very well painted. You've got the skin/flesh tones down perfectly. Again, no criticism as such... I really admire your painting skills and dedication. Well done!

Thank you so much! I didn't keep track of the hours, but it was a lot -- probably about 30 or so. I'm going to try to do another one (not of me this time, I don't think) and try to improve my speed.
