Good ol' Maple Story. Is it just me, or is it really fun and then gets boring.

That's how Maple Story is for everyone your playing it right. You get to your class get all excited about it then you....spend hours training...collecting...find a mission or two to help it not be as repetitive. Then you start farming again....Realize that this game is boring and quit. As for the image above it's magnificent.

Nice influences 
-Metal Slug: The only MS I didn't play was 6 
-Pokemon: How could I not love it? It was a big and really good part of my childhood!
-Zelda 2: Just played, and I liked it
-Zelda Oracles: Awesomesauce, 'nuff said! ... sadly, even though Link's Awakening seems to be after the Oracles games (Link/Hero password's ending) it wasn't as good
-Super Mario: Ahh, Mario... The first vg I've ever played was the original Super Mario Bros. for NES... and when I got SMB3 for NES as a gift, it was one of the best moments ever 
-Final Fantasy 6: My fav FF ever
-Megaman: Great gameplay and desings, has a strong adventure feeling and a good story. I just wish MMZ didn't end like that
-Touhou: I'm freaking obsesed to Touhou

dont know about megaman being a good influence, bud any influence is important, some people are influenced by their fans, and make stuff they dont like themselves. i hope you wont turn out like one of them, and just make something you like and would like playing/seeing.

Your argument is invalid for making this claim. The only objectively bad game in the series is Sonic 2006, and I'm saying this as a Sonic fan. Come back when you've played the games.
