You're not stupid don't worry. I'm actually surprised that more people didn't ask cause I'm pretty sure it's more then a little unclear. Yeah, she's frozen in like a chunk of ice or something and the black gloved hand is meant to imply it was done via Dan's ice powers.

Yep, that has to be part of how Dan felt. He's mostly like Danny, which means he had to have some feelings for Sam . . . and Valerie since it was the time he started having feelings for her too. I think he would focus on Sam since she's dead in his timeline. I wonder if he'll return and then show some feelings towards Sam, like having a bit of good in him like Darth Vador or something.

Wow Limbo...seriously wow...I can't get over the emotion in this. It's so cold and intense though. Christ, I don't know how to explain it but it makes your heart like...stop or something. Even though she's frozen there's...like a moment frozen in time or something, y'know? And when you remember it that exact same emotion comes back...and it's an eternal kind of thing?
