That's not true! In the upper Asian countries (China, Japan, and Korea) the unlucky umbe is four, because four- shi also means death. Dun dun dun. So, don't expect any streets or elevator buttons plastered with a 4 over there. That's what my mother told me.

Well atleast that one makes sense! Superstitious people people wouldn't want to go to a floor named "death." And any accidents that occured on "death street" would attract ten times as much publicity as on any other street.

Well, the whole 13 nonsense probably comes from the fact that on many Friday the 13ths terrible events took place (from what I know) so I guess they just accumulated all that to make 13 the unlucky number. *shrug*

Actually I don't think any more bad things happen on Friday the 13 then on any other day.. it's just that people pay more attention to it. Like if you you're walking down the street and break your heel on any ol' day you'll curse your own luck but if it happens on Friday the 13th then it's the day's fault. People see what they want to see.

I know a real life person who's trying to obtain, learn and use magic to its fullest. I'm not kidding. He's not delusional or anything (part of religion, I believe), he was even trying his hardest not to tell us since most people didn't believe him. But his friend and I cracked him down. It was interesting, to say the least.

From what I remember, he can hear messages from spirits in his dreams occasionally and I believe he can heal people a little. It's been awhile since I've seen it. He's such a sweet guy.
