Honestly there isn't going to be huge paragraphs of dialogue in this comic and I'm hoping the panels will move the story forward on it's own. Don't get me wrong, the huskies do talk, but there really isn't any sort of complicated back story that they have to take 5 pages to explain... So if things start getting confusing, please let me know! I would love to do a serious comic for publishing one day, so I'm hoping by completing this I will get a feel for what readers actually like or dislike in comics. Please do not take these pages without my permission

Wow! Very interesting so far! Your doing a great job! I've actually hear of Sakhalin Huskies before. I saw a mutt with that in it! It was like a GSD mix with that. Don't you love it when you make a comic about dogs, that barely resemble wolves, and people already are under assumption that they are? XD This is looking really good! It is looking quite successful! Most of the famous sled dogs are actually mixed dogs! Like a Siberian mixed with a Sakhalin. Or a Malamute mixed with a Siberian or Sakhalin!

Sorry but that's incorrect. The only mixed dog was deri (1/2 German shepherd) the rest were pure and fit the standards of the breed well. And I highly doubt you saw on considering that as of 2011 there were only 26 dogs left. And poor hana died in 2013. The other dogs' statuses are unconfirmed and lbyuks breeding stock are highly inbred.

Thank you! Yeah, sometimes I wonder if some people are actually reading the comic when they assume that they are wolves... While I understand that there are a lot of wolf comics out there right now, this is not a "wolf comic", lol. And I definitely tried to make them look as husky-ish as I could. I couldn't find very many references to Sakhalin Huskies... so I based them more off of the northern husky breeds.

You could also look at Akita's, and Shiba's! They are rather Husky-ish too XD
And no problem! I appreciate comics that are good, and have "rhythm" to them! Yours, (as well as a few others) actually grasp that, and pull at your attention! They may have really good artwork, but not the attention grabbing story!

Ya know, when I was reading about Sakhalin Huskies they actually said that they resemble Akitas and Shibas. I did try to incorporate that a bit as well, but made them much furrier! Antarctica is coooold, hahaha, so they would need some thick fur to survive down there.
Yeah and about the rhythm, I try to not put too much dialogue or "explaining" in the comic. I hope that the pictures are enough to really explain what is going on. There are a few comics that I just couldn't even get into because it was like reading a novel. x_x

I thought they greatly resembled them! I think you could like make there eyes just a tad more expressive! I love how you pay attention to detail! like on this page, after they ran, you had them panting! I love it! XD

I'll take note about the eyes! It can be hard to create expression when using more realistic eyes, but I'll definitely see what I can do because it adds a lot to a comic. Like in the latest page I did... Jiro definitely needed some expression when rolling his eyes. x)

Yeah that's true, but you can easily do awesome eyes! Just add a bit of white to them! But I am no expert at all XD

Thanks! LOL I doubt I'll be famous. It seems most people are only happy with wolf comics these days -_- But who knows, huskies are pretty darn close to wolves! I just want people to appreciate the comic and mostly appreciate the story behind it. I think it's a pretty amazing story that Disney downplayed. Don't get me wrong, I cried my eyes out to Eight Below, but I don't think they really showed how amazing it actually was for the dogs to survive.
