I'm SO into Jak and Daxter at the moment, I got the first game for christmas after it came out and have loved the series ever since, and finally got round to doing a fan-art of two of the coolest characters in videogaming.I hope I've done Bobs amazing characters justice!
The characters and names are designed by Bob Rafei and are property of SCEA. They are not my own, this illustration is, however, so please do not steal or use it in any way without first contacting me.

Your picture here reminds me horribly of a lava-filled level in Jak II where you use the hoverboard and there are loads of bombs and Krimzon Guards D:

That level was a test of my patience. The explosives the Guard throw at you got me.

LOL yeah... it took me well over a few tries... but the level that REALLY made me want to huck my playstation out the window was the one with the gun turret where you have to shoot down the tanker and it's 40 flying Krimzon Guards with guns against Jak.
And when you finally hit them, they shoot off in another direction making them even harder to kill.
I tried it in hero mode and spent about a day trying to finish, but I eventually gave up lol

There are some real killer levels in that game... the lack of save points during really hard levels makes me cry. D<

The Jak and Daxter games totaly rule! I'm in love with them; the games I mean! And I'm a very hard person to get to fall in love with a video game....erm...maybe I shouldn't say that seeing as I love almost every game I've ever played....
Anyway, this is really great art work; the second Jak is the only one I can ever get to come out right and ottsels...well, ottsels I suck at. But please, check out my stuff if you ever get the time. Great, awesome work! Do more please!

Kyeeeh, that's so cool! Personally, I liked the first game the best, but that's because I'm not really into the shooting/driving games. However, those hovercars PWN.
I vaguely recall this happening, but...*ponders* It's been a long time since I've played.
I rather wish there was more greenery in the game's later versions.

dude this is ultraly amazing, the lighting for the fact that there is lava is amazing i can never do that, i have to admit J&D is probably the best duo ever, i only started playing the games in June/July when i got Jak II. awesome

I prefer Jak 3 over the other two games. the humor was.. heh, definately more adult than the previous two, I think.

I really like the bright background. I haven`t played Jak and Daxter...is it an rpg? (yes, I`m a RPG ONLY! nerd. Except when I`m playing Katamari Damacy XD)
Since I don`t know the characters, I can`t tell if they look like they`re supposed to. But they do look very dynamic! ^^

Thankyou, for me the personal reasons behind this, apart from fandom, were to create something more dynamic and with an action feel, as that is something i'm crap at.
As for the game, it isn't an RPG, its sort of... everything, but it definitely has the brilliant characters, sequences and storys that I personally love about RPGs, I think you should give it a try! They're VERY good games!
