Like "Almost There", I see you have used a laptop to add to the symbolism of this. It displays how there are two sides of mankind's progress in technology. On one side is the Internet, efficient and endless access to sights never before thought possible, communication with friends whether they be from your area or from another area or even country altogether. There are so many possibilities yet there is the other side of technology. With the rise of new ways to entertain, communicate, and work, there are also new tools of evil including weapons, war, propaganda, fear, and destruction. One side can show us the wonders of the world, the other side destroys them in order to progress further. I find it very interesting how you designed the "angel" with bat wings but gave it a pure feel and how the "devil" has withered wings. Amazing colors, details, and designs altogether. Probably your best picture yet e.deviantart.com/emoticons/b/b… " width="15" height="15" alt="" title=" (Big Grin)" />

Thank you so much for taking the time to critique this. I am reluctant to alter your interpretation of my artwork, but I just wanted to point out that it's not a laptop in the picture. It's a Wacom tablet used to draw on the computer in programs like Photoshop. In this piece I am expressing the idea that the tablet can really release an artist's imagination and bring their vision into the world. (Not to say that traditional techniques are obsolete).

On the whole, I believe you are the first to truly grasp the general statement of my work, and for that I am sooooo happy! I really am! I was so worried people wouldn't really understand it! Thank you so much again for taking the time to look at my work!

I really like the bottom half of this piece. Focusing on all of the evil inventions of the world.

I just wish I could get more people to see it. You know. Just to see it. They don't have to like it. I'd just like to get it out there. Isn't that what every artist wants?

Well, that's one of my priorities right now, along with creating business cards for myself. I think I should take another web design class. But more focused on coding. Perhaps during the summer.
