Description My mom originally did this computer art drawing for me but I decided to do a remake of it. Whenever i'm upset,I look at it to help me understand myself more. I know it sounds silly, but it sort of helps. I had no idea where to put this,so I put it in ASCII,even though it isn't an image made from computer text,it's more of a word project I did in Macromedia Fireworks MX. Asperger's Syndrome is a psychological disorder I have that's very much like mild autism. Napoleon Dynamite and Deb both display certain behaviors of it. Forgive me for the crappy spacing,I just edited it to have it make more sense.

Old as this is, this is well written and I agree with this! I like how all the letters of the word "Asperger's" are used as the first letters of words and sentences! This should be shared outside Deviant Art. I'd like to retype this on my phone and text it to my mother. But I won't take credit for it!

Yep, I definitely feel almost all of those things.....
I didn't really knew what it was when I was diagnosed with Asperger's. And despite that I've recognized my behaviours, I still usually act that way....like it became part of me.
But at least I've began to feel better, and it's not all that bad.

I may not have asperger howerver I have some great friends that have it. Also, I know how hard rejection can be. Being rejected by someone I came to think as a friend is possibly in my top three worse fear.

I'm going to come right out and say I'm a Brony and yes, I, too, am sick of fanboys spamming the internet with their mindless praise for the show. That having been said, I've spent the last ten years of my life denying Asperger Syndrome exists. Maybe I felt ashamed or afraid. Maybe I felt both. Ashamed of being different. Afraid of being labeled. Of all things, it took F#$%ing My Little Pony to help me come to grips with everything. The Brony documentary of the current (4th generation) incarnation of My Little Pony showed very relatable interviews with not one but two Bronies with Asperger Syndrome. I finally accepted I don't need to be afraid and I don't need to feel ashamed. I finally know I'm not alone.

For the first time in years, I'm happy.

I love this~
My dad thinks I have Asperger's but my mom doesn't, so I'm like
"Well, do I or don't I?" Since I live away from my dad, my mom dismissed it as ridiculous and won't take me to see my GP.
I would love to know if I do or don't because it's kinda making me restless..
But a lovely acronym nontheless:3

I can relate to most of that & i don't have aspergers, just a trumatic past & a hard life. We all find large changes and the unknown daunting, if not scarey. You just find the strength within to push forward and get on with it. No one deserves a special label to hide behind, unless they're satisifed to make no real progress in their lives and remain a victim of life itself for the rest of their lives....
