Yes.Everything always finish by dissolve itself.I just love the global mood. The way the matter is modeled.
A very beautiful and luminous one!

thanks Peggy, though as I told Christian I'm not quite happy with the way the photo turned out, and I've probably taken a couple dozen shots in various lighting conditions.

You're very welcome Kevin! Yeah, I can understand that. I used to find it difficult to get accurate shots of my metalwork - not sure if it would work for your painting, but shooting outside in morning light (not direct sunlight) worked pretty well for metal.

I was going to try and take a few shots outside this evening, it was overcast with diffuse light, but it was already a bit too late and a little too dark.Β think it's supposed to be clear and sunny tomorrow so that's out for a couple more days.

Overcast is definitely a plus - that works well for portraits too! For sure as that light can be really harsh.Β

so I got the other photo uploaded, had to do a bit of editing to adjust the color and saturation, but I think this one better illustrates the textural details of the painting.Β

thanks.Β I'm actually quite happy with the painting, it's the photos I'm having a problem with on this piece.Β think I may need to try taking a few outside on an overcast day.Β funny thing is though I get the best results as far as showing the minute detail of texture with direct flash, but in addition to getting reflection from the gold paint in the mid to upper part it gives a much bluer cast to the whole painting, losing the sort of pale turquoise tones in the upper area.Β viewing it directly you can see a more subtle gradation.Β I am considering letting this one go before I do something drastic by applying more paint....

well i think the tones and textures show up so well in the way your taking it right now, i wouldnt think there would be a need to add more paint just to justify the photo-graphical element of this and you might get arrested if you do

I may try messing with the current photo in Corel to see if I can get a more satisfactory result without having to actually re-shoot.Β that's my usual go to program for adjustments but having it on a different computer makes it a pain sometimes... actually most times, lol!Β
