I’m not sure if abilities like Cloud Nine and stuff will affect Primal Weather but if it does….

I did have fun making all the ORAS graphic stuff tho
EDIT: Apparently Cloud Nine CAN override heavy weather (so you can use fire moves in Primordial Sea, water moves in Desolate Land)! Moldbreaker can't though. (VIDEO LINK)
AND UNLESS THERE IS FULL GAME FOOTAGE DISPROVING THE VIDEO I LINKED HERE , I WILL ASSUME CLOUD NINE WILL OFFSET PRIMAL WEATHER. Granted they hacked in the abilities into the demo, but assuming they didn't hack the ability game mechanic itself and/or the ability mechanic changes from the demo, it still is valid to me.
EDIT: CLOUD NINE/AIR LOCK BLOCKING PRIMALWEATHER IS CONFIRMED (check the FAQ section to see how Heavy Weather works)!!!

Actually in XY, the animation of any weather still goes on when Cloud Nine is active. But the effects (i.e. water moves powering up in rain) will not happen. Same goes for the ability Air Lock.
And if we assume the same for ORAS, the heavy weather animation and text will still show up but the effects will not be there in the battle.

Poisonally, I like lickilicky as a weather counter. It gets cloud nine, power whip, fire blast/punch, and earthquake. Those three moves deal with literally every non uber weather setter. Even then, you can add ice beam or surf/aqua tail. Lickilicky 2stronk

Kyogre with thunder, blizzard, earthquake, and water spout cleared out every secret base that there was in my day. These whipper-snappers playing the remake won't know how long it took to find the best bases the first time, using only an acro-bike, waterfall, cut, repel, ingenuity and five heaping helpings of Feebas that has been force-fed beauty snacks because it is not perfect just the way it is.
