Just from all I've read I've never really encountered speedsters being big on black. It goes against the hope they try to give others.

i just did to keep continuity of including some element of black on each of the costumes, though it isn't necessary, i suppose a darker shade would work just as well

Absolutely, I understand why and I do like it, I just think the dark red shading would work just as well. Great work though man!
