Lokindle (Locust + Kindle)The Wildfire pokemon
Bug/Fire Type
"Lokindle are feared by the locals of Africa. Whilst small, they swarm in massive numbers and tear through the wilderness, creating wildfires and burning all crops and vegetation to ashes."
So I wanted to make a fire bug, and here it is. If it's similar to Hoppiler it's on purpose.
I like making fires spout of creative places, so this one has fire spouting from it's antennae.
When I was trying to think of a fire bug, I figured it would be something that lives in a hot country, and it could start fires easily. The wildfires are a parallel to the real locusts that destroy all vegetation (by eating it instead). Locusts and Grasshoppers also have cool red wings.
Is it any good?

It's really bland sounding, but the only name I could think of was Ashhopper. The design and concept are really creative and an awesome idea!

I'm not sure about names, but if you're going to have it alongside another grasshopper themed mon, you might find it interesting that locusts are normally just regular grasshoppers until something, usually crowding or lack of food, causes a hormonal shift and they change color and start swarming. You could possibly link the species somehow.

Fire ant is another possible bug/fire type! I decided against it though cos I didn't know where to put the fire.

I sort of had an idea of an ant with a small opening in its back, and as it evolves that opening becomes a hump and then the final evolution would have a volcano on its back. But it reminds me a little too much of torkoal and camerupt...

Locaust - Locust/Caustic. I really like the concept, and the plague/wildfire connection - it gives it an extra dimension. The colour scheme is also great, it would blend in well with the crops I imagine
