ANNNNND 90% Done, but this will be my last post on him... most likely. I'm seriously thinking he needs a guitar and a short film made. It's a strong possibility too.I took as much feedback as I could, and there's still more to fix (red nose, and better SSS on the ears) but that will when I post some animation tests

Stuning job!! what did you do on Maya?? the hair? really love the textures of the cigar and the hat!! i am on zbrush but modeling for now, i hope to learn how to texture, light like you!!! still blow away for the pic !! keep going!

Thanks a lot. Yea I used maya, zbrush, photoshop, and rendered with mental ray. A HUGE chunk of rendering is making sure you use a linear workflow. Which is pretty much placing a gamma correction node on your camera. Then gamma correcting your textures so you can use light and color properly.
