Hi Everybody! Elmo loves you!

That's right! It's Elmo, everyone's favorite little red ticklish monster from Sesame Street. Yeah, baby! It's always a sunny day when I get to make another Muppet character, and doubly so when that character is one as loveable as Elmo! Elmo stands just over 11 inches tall, so I figure he's roughly half-scale compared to the actual puppet. I tried hard to make sure that he resembled the real puppet as much as possible so he wouldn't just turn out looking like a toy. Toys of Elmo are a dime a dozen, but I really wanted my model to resemble the puppet in miniature, almost as if he should have an arm operating him.

Overall, Elmo was super fun to make...though I'm in no hurry to do another furry character anytime soon. It was quite a mess! I'm going to be coughing up red furry hairballs for weeks...
