Hello, Everybodeee! It is your old pal, Grover!

Indeed, my latest model is cute and lovable old Grover! Grover is my favorite Sesame Street Muppet, so I have been wanting to create a model of him for years. However, it proved to be surprisingly challenging to acquire proper looking blue fur to make him. I even made a model of Elmo last summer mostly for "Grover practice." After Elmo turned out so well, the time to make Grover himself felt so NEAR...but without the right fur, I was afraid it may still be FAR away. (I'm sorry.)

Thankfully, thanks to a furry blue pillow case I found, Grover himself is finally here! He stands 13 1/2 inches tall, one of my larger models in recent years. As with Elmo, my goal with Grover was to make him look as much like a miniature of the real puppet as possible, so his stance is meant to make it look like a puppeteer could be performing him.

It's been a long time coming, but I could not be more pleased with how Grover turned out! He might very well be my new favorite model. And he is cute, too!
