The chicken lives! That's right, my latest model is once again Moana's inadvertent travel buddy, HeiHei the chicken. This time around, HeiHei stands 14" inches tall, almost double that of my previous model. I'm not sure if that's truly "life-sized" or not, but looking at how big he appears in the movie...it's at least pretty close. Between his size, complexity, and just taking the time to make and glue on all those dang feathers, HeiHei has finally unseated Banjo-Kazooie as the most difficult model I've made so far. But I love how he turned out! And, fittingly enough, he does still have some feathers made with "Ocean Blue" felt, just like the first one!
