Hold your horns, here comes Spyro! Surely you all must have known this was coming eventually, right? It's the little purple dragon himself, based on his "all scaled up" appearance in the Reignited Trilogy! Those of you who have been following my model making endeavours for some time may know that I refer to my models as "Spyrofoam" models. And they are, indeed, named after Spyro the Dragon! Though he was not my first model, my desire to make a model of Spyro years ago is what got me making these models in the first place. (And I couldn't resist the ridiculous pun.)

As the years have passed and my models have become more ambitious and detailed, I often thought I ought to remake Spyro to bring him up to the same standards as my more recent models. My previous model was starting to look a little long in the tooth. And, wouldn't you know it, the Reignited Trilogy brought with it a fantastic new design for the little purple dragon that I couldn't resist making! Spyro stands 10" tall to the tip of his horns, and I had a ton of fun creating all his little scales and other details. With this new model, I feel like the namesake of my "Spyrofoam" models is once again fit to carry the title!
