Raise the Jolly Roger! It's none other than the beloved mascot of the Pittsburgh Pirates, the Pirate Parrot! In addition to being opening day for the Pirates this year, today also happens to be the 40th anniversary of the introduction of the Pirate Parrot! I'm a Pirates fan by proximity more than anything else, but I've always thought the Parrot would make a great looking model. And, at 12 inches tall, I'm incredibly pleased with how he turned out!Oh, and April Fools, I guess. I suppose the joke is making you all think I actually care much about baseball...
