Mike knocked on Tam's door.
After months, he had finally gathered the courage to go to her small place near the campus. Usually, Mike wasn't like that - especially not with women, but Tam was a bit different.
Mike had known Tam - her full name was Tamara - for a while now. They got along when they ran into each other at university and shared some interests. There was always something that put him on edge when he was around her too, though. She seemed kinda deceiving sometimes, not mean or anything, more like mischievous - and yet seemingly innocent. Mike couldn't quite figure her out.

What he also couldn't figure out was the state Tam was in when she answered the door. She had brunette hair, wore glasses and her face had a hint of freckles. She was wearing black yoga pants and what seemed to be a Pokemon t-shirt with a picture of a Snorlax on it, though this Snorlax was stretched extra-large across a big bulge - Tam was pregnant.
Mike figured that out, but what he couldn't wrap his head around was how Tam was that immensely pregnant. He was no expert but she looked like she was easily nine months in, seemingly due any day. He searched his memories of Tam. She told him that she was expecting, but she wasn't showing then and that was only a couple months ago, five at best.

"Hey, you finally made it", she said and moved back out of the doorframe to let Mike in. "Glad you came, I have some things I wanna try out. "

"Hi, thanks. " Mike stammered a bit, still a bit startled by Tam's appearance. As he took off his shoes he asked "Things? What things?"

"Games! That's what I meant. I recently read more about DnD and stuff and it sounds fun so I'd love to give it a try. But you need to have another person to play. Since I don't go out that much recently I had to seize the opportunity to have someone around to try it!", Tam explained while walking into her room with Mike in tow.
Games where one of their shared interest, mostly video games - they played a few of them together online, but they were open to board games and the likes too.

"You know you need more than two people to play DnD, right?" Mike answered as he sat down on Tams table. She had a relatively small table in her room, besides a bed that doubled as a couch, a shelf with her video games and books, a TV and a small desk with her laptop on it. A typical student's room. Mike's eyes wandered around and came to rest on Tam’s belly. Tam was still standing on the other side of the table, putting her rotund middle on Mike's eye level.

"Aww, really?" Tam said, "but in DnD you kind of make up the rules, right? I'm sure we can find a way to make it work with just the two of us. I really wanna play!" She was getting excited.
"Alright", Mike answered, "we'll think of something. There should be a simple story out there that would fit for a first time DnD session. "

Tam sat down slowly to make room in her lap for her belly and together they came up with a DnD campaign. Mike thought they should try a stereotypical 'knight sets out to slay an evil dragon' storyline since there is usually only one knight and it would be easy to play out. Tam liked the idea and wanted to be the game master.
They started the campaign and Tam got really into it, trying to act out all the characters and describing everything that happened in detail. Mike liked how Tam seemed to be enjoying herself and went along with it, soon loosening up and even forgetting about Tam’s strange pregnancy as her belly was obscured by the table.

The campaign went on for a bit and Mike the knight was finally in the cave where the evil dragon resided.
Tam was narrating: "You slowly and carefully proceed deeper and deeper into a tunnel until you reach a big chamber. In the faint light you see a big creature, seemingly resting. "
- "I want to observe the creature for a bit from a safe distance," said Mike.

"Always playing it safe, eh?" Tam said jokingly. The campaign felt like it was going to slow for her, she wanted more fun. She stretched upwards in her chair, her arms reaching over her head. This caused her belly to come into Mike's view again and Tam arching her back made it seem bigger than ever. Right in that moment a gurgle emanated from Tam’s stomach. She blushed and looked down, wrapping her arms around her swollen middle.
"Wow, someone must be hungry. " Mike said.
"Well, I-", Tam started but suddenly stopped. An idea struck her and she grinned.
" 'Well, I think it's time for breakfast!' you hear the creature say as it starts to move and get up. " Tam was narrating the game again, catching Mike a bit off-guard.
"You realize from the voice and the shape that you are not merely facing a dragon - but a dragoness!" Tam proclaimed. "And as the mighty creature stands, you also see that she's laden with eggs!" Tam continued almost proudly. She had put her hands on her own belly, rubbing it slightly through the shirt.
Mike stared at it and didn't know what to make of the situation. He certainly didn't expect that Tam would be putting her own strange pregnancy into the campaign. Tam on the other hand seemed to really enjoy the turn of events and continued: "The pregnant dragoness sniffs the air, she seems to catch the scent of the human present."

"I retreat behind a rock!" Mike quickly threw out. He needed time to think about how to approach this.
"You hide behind a nearby rock and out of sight of the dragoness." Tam continued. Her stomach gurgled again. 'Her pregnancy must make her even hungrier' Mike thought, and for a moment, he didn't know if he meant the dragoness or Tam. Confusion crept into his head.

"Her hunger combined with the scent makes the dragoness restless, she starts to move about the cave", Tam never broke character. She got up and walked slowly around the table. Mike got a side view of her. Tam was a small girl, making her abdomen seem comically large on her. The shirt - clearly not meant for a woman that pregnant - had ridden up a bit, revealing a sliver of pale skin. Mike couldn't help but stare at it - he was paralyzed.

"The dragoness stalks around the rock and finally sees you. 'Gotha!' she yells out. " Tam turned towards Mike. He was staring at the popped out belly button that was visible through the shirt of his very rotund friend. "Your move?" Tam continued.

"I ... I... " Mike was staggered. "I... swing my sword!" he practically yelped out. Finally able to pry his eyes from Tam he grabbed the twenty-sided dice and rolled. He and Tam followed it as it danced across the surface, finally coming to a halt.

"Zero," Tam spoke. "What a pity."
Mike looked back at her. With him still sitting, it seemed like she was looming over him.

"You attempt a pitiful swing but clearly miss the hard-to-miss creature. The dragoness seizes the moment to grab your leg and lifts you up to hold you at face level. 'How dare you trying to hurt my babies?' she snarls at your face, a bit of dark smoke escaping her nostrils.
Your clumsy attempts to free yourself are fruitless.
'Instead of harming my offspring, I think you should feed it! I had a craving for knights the whole week!' the big dragoness explains. She lifts you do dangle right over her head and opens her big maw wide. You hear a gurgle emanating from her awaiting stomach."

Just as Tam finished the sentence Mike heard her belly make a demanding groan, aiding her narrative in a very convincing way.

"The dragoness lets go of your feet and you fall straight into her gaping maw. She swallows you quickly. Her already large belly swells even further out as you enter the fleshy prison that is her stomach."

As she spoke these words, Tam’s belly began to bulge out, accompanied by a quiet sloshy sound. In a couple of moments, it stretched out, causing the Snorlax on her shirt to distort and ride up, revealing more and more of the sphere that was her pregnant belly. Finally - just as the shirt left Tam’s belly button exposed, the growth stopped.

"The knight has met his end within the dragoness. Sorry Mike, it looks like the game's over."
Mike was still paralyzed by the situation. He slowly looked Tam up and down. After the growth spurt, his short, young college friend was sporting the biggest pregnant belly he has ever seen. The sphere's shiny spotless surface just inches away from his face.

"But... what... how..." he stammered. Somehow he felt like he was a fly trapped in a spiders web.
"Oh, come on, be a good sport. The dragoness was hungry, so she devoured the knight, it happens. Besides, I kinda know how she feels. I myself am starving!" Tam looked down at her middle and began rubbing her big belly's sides. Then she eyed Mike again. "Maybe you can help me with that..."

"MISSION COMPLETE!" appeared on the TV screen. Tam leaned back and sank into the pillows behind her back a bit. "Maybe it's time for a short break."
She put the game controller down on the bare skin of her belly. She was sitting upright against the wall on her bed. Her Snorlax shirt was just covering her chest now, right underneath her breasts, her abdomen swelled out dramatically. Tam had her legs spread wide so the pink sphere could rest between them. At it's widest point, the massive gut was twice as wide as Tam's hips and the outermost curve of her belly was beyond her knees now. In fact, most of her stomach's skin was out of her reach. Tam was still contempt in rubbing what she could, marveling her gigantic size.
She picked up the controller with her left hand again and patted her middle with her right. "Let me know when you're ready to come out."
Then she continued playing her game.
