This is the most awesome sculpture I've ever seen O___O I've been asked to do a toothles sculpture in polymer clay and I was looking for ideas because I barely don't know how to do it, where to start T__T And this is so OMG. I wish I could do that. I was thinking that I'm going to do an estructure with wire, but I'm pretty scared of the wings, I don't want them to fall down D: Can you tell me how did you do the wings? Anything would help!! Thank you so much, keep it going you are awesome!!!

Thank you very much for your kind words! Β Luckily for me, this was sculpted out of wax(well wax like), so it did not require a wire armature. Β With a polymer clay, a wire armature is a really good idea, and depending on size, it may need to be thick wire. Β Also, if the wings are fully stretched out you may want stronger wire. Β Good luck with the sculpt, it is a challenge to get right (Toothless's head was a challenge for me), but it is a fun one! Β

Thank you so much! I must have gathered around two hundred images of Toothless alone. If I was going to sculpt him, he would be as accurate as possible!

Waaah.... This side is just as good as the front. Something I would want displayed in the middle of the room so everyone could see all angles of it

Yeah, while the front took the most time, with the faces and whatnot, I wanted to make sure all sides were as detailed!
