Not really anything special. I generally don't even use a tripod. You just need to make sure your pictures overlap enough so that there is enough of each photo to align everything together.

Thank ya Jill! I wished the sky hadn't flaked out on me that day...it kinda turned 'blah' around mid afternoon. I wished I had more time to just sit at a place and wait for that perfect opportunity to capture the shot when everything comes together.
