Description
Here is a once proud barn that no longer stands. Sometime between early to mid summer, the steady Oklahoma winds won it's long war of attrition with this structure and brought it to the ground. This photo was taken just before a summer storm organized just west of this location, which produced heavy rains. I have to admit that I was a little disappointed to find it in ruin, since old, textured buildings of this character can be a photographer's dream. Among other things that seem to be quickly departing from us, we must preserve our heritage.
