Description
This was one of many Dead End's I encountered while exploring over the weekend. As most of the traffic signs in the country, this one has numerous gun shot holes. As you can see in the picture, I positioned myself so that the Dead End sign was directly between me and the sun, with the sunlight peeking through one of the bullet holes. I was very pleased when I looked at my shot afterwards to find that the sun rays had been captured as well. I think the only element that I find a little odd, is how the sign itself is almost lit on the interior from the small gunshot holes and the prominent gun shot hole from which the sun light is creating a star burst effect...didn't expect that!Hope you enjoy!

Is it okay if I use this in a future album artwork of mine? I'll give you credit for the picture, of course.

I like the fact that you can read the sign. Makes it that much more meaningful.

excellent photograph.
Those rays look hand-made to me, but they aren't right ?

That's some awesome lighting you have there. D: it's magic (lumos!).
and I like how there's all these bullet holes in the sign. Like "dead end" vs. dead from being shot..?
I'm babbling.

Yuppers! I've been keeping an eye on the submissions and there are a few that are popping out that I like above the rest!

Isn't the number of rays supposed to match the number of parts of the diaphragm, is it true in that case ? (i count 13...)
Love the *shot* btw ...

Whoa! Now you are talking some pretty interesting and technical aspects of telecentric lenses! I also counted 13...
Thank you!!!
