I know I'm late to say so but this has been in my FF favorites folder for a number of years now. You captured the spirit of both of them exquisitely
it really speaks to her maxim "To be forgotten is worse than death"
In her case I would agree, how often does someone find their true mate just for it all to be taken away?
it eviscerates my heart but its done so well I can't help but coming back time and time again to look at this piece which illustrates their situation so perfectly.

I stumbled recently upon a few artists who had Freya + Fratley art, and simply had to make an account on the spot to priase them. I think it's wonderful to see fans of those two, or even people who'd just played the game. ( Many people didn't find it appealing, or somesuch. ) To save time /effort, I'll only post here on this one. I think your art is beautiful, and you can be certain I'll find a way to favorite those pieces soon. ( Total DA noob. ) Their relationship, the Burmecians themselves, and their fates were so interesting, dramatic, and saddening, it nearly makes me weep that they never expanded on them anymore, and that a majority of them were killed when Cleyra was destroyed. =/

It's unfortunate that Square never really expanded on any world they created. Even the Ivalice Alliance makes no allusions to the original Tactics...
