Omfg. That took a long time. I've been wanting to do something like this for awhile...Anyways. Yeah. My finger is killing me from drawing so much.The story is an actual Russian Fairytale from a book my Norway let me borrow awhile back. The original tale was called 'Ivan the Foolish' but Russia is no fool! Lol. Idk. Russians have weird fairy tales, but they're EXTREMELY interesting. This happened to be one of the shortest. I'm not doing this again. Seriously. ;A; You'll have to just deal with that fact, ok? I think I've drawn enough chibis to last me for a few years...Damn. I did not include every single little detail but I kept to the storyline as best as I could. Some of those things like the children being on the stove and the odd song lyrics actually were in the story xD. I had an amazing blast drawing all of the Russia, Liet, Estonia, Poland, and Latvia bears...They're so cute! ;v;...
Anyways, I hope someone out there finds this funny or entertaining. ^u^ <3
Oh, and the characters belong to the original creator of APH, of course, and then the storyline belongs to that book..."Russian Fairy Tales" by Moura Budberg and Amabel Williams Ellis. Check out that book. I love it ;v;. You haven't read a fairy tale till you've read a RUSSIAN fairy tale.

Agreed...Russian fairy tales should be their own genre.
I think only Russian kids have the level of insanity required to read/listen to something like that before bed and NOT be traumatized.

I know the librarian at my old elementary read this to my second grade class once. It was... a strange story.

Lololol. My school and people around me know next to little anything foreign. I was heavily surprised this year when a festival at one of my towns actually had some men in Scottish kilts playing on bagpipes through the parade. The people of my state (Middle of nowhere America) actually aren't very open-minded nor knowledgeable of outside cultures. I'm always afraid of getting lynched or something for having a Russian flag on one of my bags and people thinking I'm 'communist' or something.
But yes, Russian stories are quite strange. I love them though eue

Oh man, that sucks. My school is really diverse and really big, the last part not being a very good thing. There are about, 3000 or so kids at my school with 30-40 kids per class because of budget cuts. I live in California, by the way. Sorry, I'm sort of rambling on. OTL

flsajfldskf I would like to but my hand was pretty much dead after that one. I am reading a Russian Medieval book about their Epics, Tales, and Chronicles, perhaps I may take a section out from there and illustrate it...It all depends eue;. And yay! It's a good book~
