Thanks I try my best to use as much Shapes as possible but I've to use raster layers for things like filters and reflections.
Is there any way to apply filters on shape layers?

That's great. Actually, do you think you could do one specifically on using gradients for shading? I've seen a lot of good icon design that just looked great because it had good gradients.
