I have been working on this ship over at Scifi-Meshes under the name Damocles. So those who aren't a member or lurker on that board won't know the alternate history I have been working on, so I will summarize it here for you.

During the Xindi Arc on Enterprise, they were able to successfully stop the weapon from attacking Earth, thus, saving billions of lives and moving forward with the Federation plot at the series heart. That is NOT the case with this ship. In my altered timeline, while Earth wasn't obliterated like it was in the "Twilight" episode, it was attacked, it was devastated and had to be evacuated.

The remaining humans now live on Terra Nova, on Mars and Jupiter station. While billions still died, there was no fear of another attack as the Xindi council races (Aquatic, Arboreals, and Primates) helped lead the evacuation, and offered up protection for the Human colonies that remained (alongside the Vulcan and some help from Andorian's). The other two Xindi races (Insectoids and Reptilians) became disorganized when their leaders were killed in the attack on Earth.

This is the first ship built (90 years after the settling of Terra Nova) by Starfleet. Designed as a war-ship, she patrols the TN and Sol systems with her sisters. This is especially easy for them, as they are the first generation to have a warp 7 engine.
