Alvin: I've been thinking. Maybe we should rerecord some of our old songs! You know, sort of a return to our roots, but updated! You know! With a bit more pop! More pizazz! To really give it that new age kick!
Dave: That sounds like a wonderful idea, Alvin.
Alvin: Yeah! And maybe we could change a few of the lyrics around, too! Make it a little more now, ya know? Like...instead of "I want a hula-hoop." maybe I could say something along the lines of...I dunno. "I want a new dirtbike!"
Dave: Alvin, that doesn't rhyme with...This is about all those hula-hoops you got in your fanmail again isn't it? Alvin?
Alvin: Or! Or I could say "I want a Playstation 3 with HDMI Cables and a new widescreen HDTV"?"
Dave: Alvin!
Alvin: Or "I want a private jet!" Oh man, that would be SWEET!

Seriously, I wonder just how many musicians make the mistake of singing about how they want something and end up with that being all they ever get? Considering that song is around 50 years old, Alvin must have millions of hula-hoops by now. XD
This speedart clocked in 6:57. I personally think it's the worst of the bunch. XP It's way too rushed this time. I think I'll extend my time limit to 10 minutes next time. or at least 7.

I listened to their new Christmas single "Ho Ho Ho" from their new album Undeniable on You Tube. After singing for a hula hoop for 50 years, what Alvin now wants for Xmas is an iPod and cash. (not necessarily in that order)
I would love to see some entire season collections of the 80's Chipmunk series. The episode collections currently out there are nice, but I would really like the episodes per season so we can check them all out.

In one of my fanfiction home episodes, Alvin gets an IPod for "emergencies only", and somehow it winds up covered in cake batter, which is eaten by Theodore! So Alvin, Jeanette and Eleanor rush Theo to the emergency room. the funniest part, is that Simon never finds out about the incident, and is very confused when Alvin says "I think I'm through with 21st century technology."

On the "Chipmunk's 35th Birthday Party" album during the instrumental part of the Chipmunk song (Christmas Don't Be Late) Alvin says:
"Dave, I've been asking for that Hula Hoop for years. I would like to ask for something new! Like roller skates, or a new stereo!"

Reciting the lines in the caption, I found I don't make a half bad Alvin. XD I still can't manage Theodore, though. His inflections are a little bit harder to capture. Still I wish people would stop walking in and looking at me funny XD.
And the image was quick, so I forgive the little mistakes. The thing I have the biggest problem with is that his left knee is floppy XD
