Let's just say that Bowie as Jareth made me feel things as a pre-teen I hadn't felt before.
As a young girl, I'd watch it and say 'you stupid idiot, Sarah- he's digs you and is serenading you!' But I rooted for the villain even back when I was a kid; I was weird.
