- While drawing the hair, be calm and don't harsh.
draw part by part -don't draw the whole thing at one time-
Love to draw the hair, practice and it will get out as how you want.
Though I'm not that good at drawing hair that much -and at explaining too- but I hope that this "simple" tutorial will help someone T_T"
Especially for ~Huyen-n00b
I will upload the art... when I will get my scanner back.

ok, i use charchoal, and no1s taught me how to draw AT ALL, do u have any suggestions for charcoal? and plz out my newest wip and tel me wat u think? (its of toshiya of dir en grey, newest on my page)

charchoal.. I don't draw with charchoal but I tried it for some several times before, I think you need to practice well with charchoal, when you draw with it the shading can be ruined easily if you didn't concentrate enough.
from time to another, pick a paper and draw different lines shapes here and there, try to practice on shading more often, it will helps you to evaluate your skills

I hate hair so much... not because I can't do it but because it takes so long... this was useful however cause it has shown me that I should be more careful and not rush through it as much... just go look at my stuff...!

Yeah, I draw the hair last, if I'm drawing only the head! I have no certain technique for doing it - it changes everytime, and I get confused very easily!

That's quite the tutorial I need coz I=fail at hair the most. Maybe I should learn to be more patient in doing hair, so then maybe I'll learn to like it.. XD Thanks for the lovely tips, I will keep them in mind!! <3

that really is useful!! i used to draw lines in an angry way which made it turn out so ugly.. i didnt know i had to calm down and draw them by parts. hehe.. thanks for that tutorial eh~
