As title says it's just another sketch for a Draco doll and if modeling don't get wrong, this is the image it will have.Actually this sheet is part of the "life size" doll's roughes, that's why there are still contructions lines and measurements
; (sorry fo that)Btw, normally you're not supposed to draw anything clear on these sort of sketches, as they're just body construction lines, but I wanted to check balance for eyes, nose and lips to be sure the head shape would fit before adjusting the plan. And... it's quiet OK, isn't it? I'm just afraid the 20 euros glass eyes pair I've seen to be a little large for it and maybe I'll got to buy another pair. I'll see that when the head will be done...And he have loose hair 'cos I prefer him like this
Ok, suppose we can declare it's now officialy the 1st step toward realisation...><

Japanese and french are both difficult to learn. French for its grammar and spell, japanese for these (bloody) kanji. I've learnt japanese for a long time but still not fluent and i'm really considering to stop my japansese study this year.

I don't understand...you make your own dolls? Like, from scratch? That's cool! One of these days I'm going to custom-make a Dolfie doll, have to cut the hair and make my own clothes for him, but that's hardly doing it entirely on my own. So expensive, though....600 for the doll alone.
Eyes that size might be a bit big for a realistic look, but then again, anime style is cute and expressive so, provided the eyes aren't half as big as the face, it should look fine, cute even
I dunno if this is how the doll would actually look, but...Draco looks kinda...er....girly.....

Hell, yes SD are so expensive, that's true. I'm lusting after the one called D tought. *heavy sigh*
For this Draco I'm waiting for a pair of eyes before digging holes in his head but I don't think he will have such as big eyes as drew on the sketch. That way he won't be too girly *lol* Anyway at the very beginning he wasn't supposed to look like Draco, it's just that I've dedicated my 1st work to a friend who's a huge fan of the character.

You ever seen the magazine, Haute Doll? Of all the doll magazines, it's the only one I really like. I'm not much for "folksy" dolls, I like realistic and fantasy ones pretty much exclusively. Oh...and really pretty anime-ish ones, like Super Dolfie *drool* Anyway...sometimes that maazine has tips for making and styling dolls, so it's cool. I have one edition that had a huge special all about Sds, I was so happy. Maybe I should get the doll now, instead of waiting until after I make my Zelda costume for Comic-Con...

Well, this one is for my pleasure and for sorta publicity in artists' doll shops in Paris but I won't sell it. I'll see if someone is interested in my creation and if it's Ok I'll do original dolls. We just call him Draco because he'll be blond with blue eyes, but if I dress him with casual he'll be anyone XD
Haute doll? I'm not sure. I read some japanese magazines like Dolly as my model is Hizuki from the Pygmalion movement but I don't know much english publication. It's quiet hard to find anything about contemporary artist doll here in France. I'll try to have a look in an english book shop I know. They've got plenty of magazines, maybe they've got this one.
Dolls are fun to make indeed and you can keep it a long time; cosplay is valuable for 1 day, that's sad

Blah, I can wear the costumes as many days and conventions I go to. Well, except I can't wear my Zelda costume at Comic-Con until after the Masquerade costume contest....but I can wear it to Anime Expo. And what's more, I can wear it to Halloween and just every day if I so wish it. Yeah, maybe I'll get weird stares, but better that they're attracted to my glamour than my faults, oui?

I'm reading a really great fantasy series of books that takes place in a mythical Europe, and the main characters all come from the medieval equivalent of France. The author is always describing the beauty and grace of Terre D'Ange (France). I wonder if she's french...?

Yup, she describes what the names mean in "D'Angeline" (Angel Speak). Her name is Jacqueline Carey, very french, I know. All the names sound french in the book, too, ...Joscelin (a guy, no less), Ti-Phillipe, Phédre la Comtesse de Montréve...hehe, it's so inspiring!
When I was younger I wanted to learn french, but now I'm learning Japanese. Maybe after I get fluent in that, I'll learn French too

En fait j'ai un peu de mal à mettre de l'âme dans mes dessins dernièrement, tout simplement parce que mes personnages n'ont pas "d'histoire".
Ca peut paraître un peu bizarre comme remarque, voir un peu capillotracté, mais je pense qu'on ne peut bien dessiner que ce qu'on aime. Euh...tu vois ce que je veux dire?
Par exemple en ce moment je n'ai aucune idée de scénar ou ne serait-ce que d'embryon d'histoire (enfin si, mais c'est pas trés grand public pour le moment hihi) donc les petits trucs que je griffone sont vraiment plats et barbants. Il suffirait que mon imagination s'embrase un peu pour que je me remette à dessiner un peu + peut être.
(Qoique, j'ai bien envie de redessiner des Lilith hihi Je suis retombée sur le cahier où on avait consigné le scénar et franchement je me suis bien marrée) Tu sais quoi d'ailleurs? On devrait reprendre PL80 si tu veux mon avis !!
En y réfléchissant faudrait que je m'entraîne avec + de fan arts peut être. Ca mange pas de pain, ca rameute des nouveaux visiteurs et puis ca détend ^^ Je vais reconsidérer l'utilité de ce compte DA finalement hihi
