Description
This is the car driven by Hans in the recent movie 'Fast and the Furious 3: Tokyo Drift.'The car has been made from scratch using Cinema4D, and alittle post production in photoshop. If you'd like to see my process of creating this car, view this [link] - It's a 2.5mb animated gif, so be patient. The reason I created the process .gif is to give people just starting with car modeling an idea on how I create my cars.
It's taken about a week to get to this stage, and there will be another submission shortly with some more detailed renders of the car by itself.

I'm so confuuuuused...that thing looks half way between RX-7 and RX8. It's too short and fat to be a Batty...but it ain't right to be an RX8 either. Wtf? Lol.
It's a very nice model but it's officially confused the fuck out of me

Yea, it's a tad wider and longer at the front. The lights have been moved forward and down the bumper, they used to be above the wheels. It was a pain in the ass to model.

The kit is by veilside and is called 'fortune', so I guess that answers your question

I have to hand it to the Batty (any Batty)...they have wicked styling already, and this badboy makes it a whole new ball game. The other awesome thing about them has to be the RWD. Some dumbass in a white Batty almost smacked into my poor 'preza when he stomped on it out of a park and intentionally fishtailed to leave wave-shaped skids behind him. Fantastic to watch, if only he hadn't come within inches of me.

lemme start off by saying this looks great. only thing is that it doesnt look like the rx7 from the movie. the 1 from the movie is longer and has a more sleek look to it. but this is still really good.
btw, i dont know if u plan on putting the decals on there but they would give it a nice racing touch

Origional didnt have decals or vinyls, but I'm thinking of giving it an entirely new paint job and perhaps some vinyls to see what else this car could look like.

The lighting on the car seems a bit off compaired to the background. Needs to be a bit brighter imo. But great work anyhow.
