Description Progress update on the Hawk - Designed and modeled by myself.

Modeled and rendered in Cinema4D

About the "Hawk"

It's small, it's lightweight, and it's coming to a showroom near you.

Powered by a Honda RC51 V-twin 999cc engine, with a redline of 10,000rpm, 120RWhp and a theoretical top speed of 233 kilometers per hour. Wearing three 19inch lightweight alloy wheels equiped with twin rear and front disc brakes, you wont have any problems stopping in a hurry.

Fiberglass outer shell and alloy chassis give you the aerodynamics needed to acheive the level of performance you expect from a roadbike, with the comfort of a car. The interior is a combination of moulded plastic and leather trim, with digital dials giving you the vital information about your vehicle.

So pick up your phone today, and call 555-it's not a real number.

Callers within the next five minutes will receive a complimentary set of steak knives. So what are you waiting for?

i agree, headlights are pretty hard to get right. for me, it almost can make or break the overall look of a vehicle. no matter, you've done well with this one..

and, my philosophy on comments, i guess, would be that if someone takes the time to comment on something that i've created, they deserve a reply, even if it's just a "thanks". this stuff is still just a hobby for me, and it's nice to get comments/suggestions so that i stay motivated.

Amen to that. Good philosophy.

What the hell does your signature mean?

mattmillsart In reply to L-X [2006-10-25 03:54:22 +0000 UTC]

ha, the signature..

it's a shell script called "mcm.sh" with several parameters set to capture the souls of all deviants, and filter them back to the database stored in heart of the green "emciem" go-bot..

pretty slick huh. well, maybe not slick, but definitely retarded..

Yep, definately slick and retarded - a lethal combo.

By the way, the script didnt work for me. I think... *is hypnotised by the go-bot*

L-X In reply to steveee [2006-10-25 02:47:04 +0000 UTC]

Theres a 1:10 lego ferrari Enzo, and also a 1:10 ferrari f-something. They're both pretty cool, but probably not as cool as the F1. You should render your F1 car with red bricks and the vodafone stickers like the real kit does.

R4PTOR-89 [2006-10-24 06:09:03 +0000 UTC]

Indeed it is sexy Mr. L-X.

However one design 'flaw' would be the rear tyre. Would it not wear down much fast then the front two tyre due to it dragging around corners? Perhaps if it was able to turn aswell making wear and tear much less would make it a better vehicle design.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

L-X In reply to R4PTOR-89 [2006-10-24 11:03:06 +0000 UTC]

It's no different than a normal 4-wheeled cars rear tyres, so it should be alright. Also, peugeot have developed a 3 wheeler (except it's a two seater and open cockpit) which seems to work fine.

As always L-X, I love this piece.
Its a simple yet complicated model, and no shortcuts seem taken.
