Description
'Erro.I've been revamping old interior models lately for my portfolio, these are the results so far. Rather than upload 3 devations and piss all my lovely watchers off by filling up your devwatch, I just combined them.
All of these images individually rendered in under 2 hours. Since I dont have a super computer, I'm doing low quality but large size renders and then using post-production to remove the low quality grain and other mess.

Great idea about rendering low qual then fixing it up in post. I've got a lot of cases where i only have a minute to
render each frame. Making a second set of UV and computing light maps/ ambient occlusion for all but the main light can be a good tradeoff as well, espeically for animations.

Nice interiors, thats a good idea for statics to render low qual, and fix it up in post.

Very nice, they are pretty realistic. The picture behind the windows are a factor of realism, but i also like the details like the plants or the magazine.

I still can't tell if it's cgi or not... You should do this professionally for like, movies and stuff.

I'm going to try and freelance for some architectural firms doing their visualisations.. Not sure how it'll turn out. Fingers crossed.

If your doing it for architectural firms then maybe you should do some exteriors - and good luck !

I love the top one the most. I want to build a house where the living room is tall and open like that with a catwalk like you have. Very Cool.

Yea same, except in my house I want the catwalk thing to actually go somewhere! haha, in this one it goes nowhere.

Wonderful work, and nice renderings. Have you gotten this out of the AR?
I like the first one most, lovely textures, and I like what you've put on the wall.

Haha yea, I wanted artwork on the wall so made something up. I kinda like it, and I'm thinking about making one in real life for my room
It's not AR, just standard C4D rendering. Cheers mate

Amasing work!
I tried interiors a couple of times but I always get dark rooms lol, I think I'm doing something wrong with the GI settings.
But I see you cheated lol
I can see an omni light in th middle one

Haha yep definately. All of them have omni's scattered around to lighten it up, the bottom one has 5 omnis in there. The one you can see is because I put it too close to the ceiling, hah.

So I guess thats how you light interiors in C4D?
I tried so hard to light a room with just a sun object and a window to get the realistic feel you got in the renders above.

Oh, the omni's are aswell as the global illumination.
I use a sky object for the GI, one infinite light for the hard shadows, and then a bunch of omni's to brighten up dark spots.
