lol I was going to say the same thing as FudgedUpBird below. This is so cool to see! Thanks for showing the work in progress!
So just curious, as I'm not very familiar with watercolors-it appears that between the last and second-to-last photos here, you lightened up the color of the book pages- is that correct? How do you do that with watercolor?

Thank you soo much !
Hmmm no I didn't light up the book, I think the difference is just because I took WIP pictures at home, mostly at night with my desk light (which is quite yellow) and the last picture was taken outside with sunlight.
I think the colors on the WIPs pictures differ a bit from the real colors, while the last picture is quite accurate
BUT anyway I have a technique that is useful for small areas, with a quite hard brush (I use an acrylic brush) you wet the paper and scratch the area, this way you can remove some color, but it's not uniform and it depends a lot on the type of paper you use. Hope that helps

You're welcome! Ahh, I see! Yeah that makes sense.
Oh that's a cool technique! Thanks for sharing, I might try that sometime!

From the thumbnail I thought it was a photo, and the "real drawing" was the one in the sketchbook!
You tricked me well.

Thank you !
Next time I'll try to take more photo ! (I always say this and then I'm trapped into a frenetic painting vortex and I don't realise it's been 5h hours since the last time I took a break... and a photo)
