04-2017 - Watercolor (WIP)
Very common in gardens, it is most colorful in spring because the berries are already red (and ripe), and the new leaves are faint yellow (almost white), colors mixed with the dark green leaves from last year, all of these on only one branch
The berries turn from green to red in a few days during witch you can observe at the same time green and red ones (I didn't understand why some of them ripen before the others, I suspect this is just because of the light : berries shadowed by a leave are a few days late maybe)
In fact thes leaves and berries have a lot of texture and I didn't represent this on the painting. Since I'm going to try a really dirty technique , I thought it would be safer to post a picture before, just in case it ruins everything
