Description

Sorry for not Aztec stuff.

Inspired by old Mayan pottery.

www.fotodom.ru/image/QM00-6253…

Mesoamerican people did art inspired by Myth.

Vucub-Caquix (mean 'Seven-Macaw') is monster in Mayan Myth.

He thought himself, he is Sun and Moon. and he act arrogantly.

So, he punished by The Hero-Twin : Hunahpu and Xbalanque, ordered by Huracan (God of The Sky).

I know many dudes and babes in Internet act arrogantly.

And their bluff going insane!

Sometime they must pay the penalty like Vucub-Caquix.

so does this mean Trixie's going to tear someponie's arm off? but ultimately in the end lose all of her teeth and have them replaced by corn seeds?

By the way, do you know the old tale of the seer? it's about a short man (a dwarf, or midget, i don't know which one is less offensive) who in fact built one of the piramids from Uxmal. I'll look in my old stuff to see if i can find it and roughly translate it, maybe you will like it.

i can't find the book

i'll tell you what can i remember. Once upon a time, an old witch lived near of Uxmal. Even when she was the healer, people don't like her, because of being a witch and nobody remembered if she had family, nor sons, etc.

One day, she was harvesting magical herbs near a cave who people said was the gate to Xibalba. And in a place near, she found an egg, a big spotted egg.

She thought of dining it, so carried home protecting from animals that tried to take it from her, and once at home, she put it below the homefire, because the crust was very hard.

i gotta dinning, i'll end later.

I think the story may goes like this :

1] Egg suddenly hatched.

2] She raise the kid (the seer) from egg.

3] Folk doubt her and tried to kill her and kid.

4] She protect kid from folks, but she died.

5] Kid revenge and build memento (pyramid) for her.

Right?

As you well know.

Kid from egg, and that kid being king or hero is one of the common topic of myth from all around world!

Sooooorry to being so late answering, lots of work here.

Not really, you are talking a little more about the relatively new legend of Huitzilopochtli and the fight against his brothers and sisters, the Stars and Coyolxauki, Moon (Princess Luna! ).

No, in this story, the Seer born from the egg almost crushing the house due the sound (he was exactly below the housefire). The Seer was a dwarf, and quickly learned all about the herbs, the magic and became a wizard-healer too, even being almost a kid. Then, one day, just beneath the place where he break his egg, he found a little cymbal made of copper or bronze (funny, mesoamericans were suposed to not known how to work copper nor bronze...) and curious, play it.

The sound flooded all the jungle, being heared a lot of kilometers far away, rumbling and scaring everybody, 'cause there was a legend, that who foundd and play the cymbal, would become the new king.

(a little more like the Camelot legend)

Then, the actual king order his men to found the guy who played the cymbal, and they got the dwarf. The king wanted to kill him, but he must to "humilliate" him in front of all people, so he made a series of tests, like the Hercules Works, to proof that he and not the dwarf was the real king.

i can't remember exactly which tests were, i just remember that building a piramid (the Uxmal Pyramid, i think) was one of them.

Another test was great: both should make a little sculpture of themselves, and the king, proud and rich, used at first, the beautiest and expensive wood from the jungle, but the second part of the test was to expose it to the fire, and his statue became ashes. Then, the king used the hardest stone, and this, with the great fire, just breaked apart. Then the king, desperated, made a beautiful statue of metal, and it just melted away...

then, the dwarf made a little statue just from humble clay, soft at first, but with the fire it became harder and stronger...

Not willing to accept him, the King made up a final test, sure of defeating the dwarf: both should receive a hard warhammer blow to the head, the one surviving would be the winner... and of course, the dwarf goes first...

Then, the old witch made invissible the cymbal, and put it on her son's head, and the dwarf don't even felt the blow. Then, the king's turn... and he died at the first strike.

And that's how the dwarf became king. He helped the people, build a lot of houses and temples, and after a long life, his heart became greedy and cruel, and died killed or something like that (yeah, mayans dont like the happy endings, LOL).

the story is much longer but i can't find it!!!

OMG! Many Thanks! I moved!
OMG! It's real 'Folk's Story(or Fairy Tale)'.

OMG! Mayans are most realistic story writer!
We saw many 'Heros' became greedy and cruel dictator.
And I remember Mayans became 'decaying'. (That history was very impressive.)

It's very impressive the story contain stuff made with metal.
Maybe, The Story was influenced by spanish stuff!?!

about the metal stuff, i thought same at first, but most of this stories are oral tradition, changing here and there some things, but the metal thing it's from the original story. Weird

because aliens hahahahaha

You can see some spaniard influences at Chilam Balam and some of the last tales fron aztecs (as i told you before, aztec empire and nahua culture lived along with spaniards).

LOLOLOL

Well, that's harsh, poor Trix, but she deserve sometimes to be punished as good'ol Vucub...

I propose Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon to be Cabrakán and Zipacná

As you know, Cabrakán and Zipacná have power and magic!

But Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon don't.

They are just little nasty ch**k

Anyway it is so sad that they bully CMC.

Why Cheerilee and Ponyville folks didn't help CMC...
