Why can't you just be grateful that someone took the time to look at your work and add it to their Favorites? They don't owe you a comment; there's no requirements or obligations to viewing artwork on this website.Maybe that person just likes to collect good art to look at? Or, maybe that person is just a mindless "fave whore" drone. Either way, who cares? Be the bigger person

Often I don't comment because. I scared of sounding like a butt-kisser/highly-opinionated-jerk/sarcastic-or-rude-person when I don't intend to. I prefer to fav and run, a fav can never be taken the wrong way.

I agree with you. A fav is like a silent comment of appreciation, so I don't see bad having like +9000 favs and only like 7 comments. Plus not always one can find a good thing to comment with. >x>

Exactly! I personally use the favorites section for when I want to go back and see something, I comment if I have thoughts on the submission.
