This is really good. Well written and rendered, good pacing and sexy! Daphne is my favorite.

Cheers buddy. I find Annie the cutest and has the most curvaceous body, but it's hard to make her look devilishly evil, she always looks sweet. Daph is great for expressions, I don't have to work too much on her face to make her look a certain way. She can look into the camera and you know what she's thinking without saying a word, Annie always looks like she's playing evil rather than being it. Carey can do both, at the start I always had her looking cute, but when I was starting to teach myself Iray I made an image of her that shocked me after the render. labean.deviantart.com/art/Slow… If you were a tiny man being looked at that way, you're fucked.

I figured that Annie was your favorite. Her features are reoccurring in your work, I've found. Kind of what redhead are to me

Yes, that iray-render looks really good and, as you say, the character pops in a different way.

I was just thinking "it's been a while since Labean posted" and here you are!

Wonderful story telling as always sir. Compelling, great dialogue and a great mix of scales. Also great in mouth shots. They're damn difficult to do.

Thanks buddy. I find it hard to get motivated at times especially with a running series. So I take breaks sometimes long breaks, but I'm always honest about it although I do get the odd impatient comment, which is usually worded politely enough although not always.

ARGH!!!! Inside Mouth Shots!! Yeh, there a pain, a real pain. Where do I start?
CAMERA POSITIONING:- Always something in the way, so you make the models a lot bigger to compensate, which makes bump maps, specular maps and Sub-Surface maps do weird stuff.
WET LOOKING MOUTH:- Most mats by default look dry so you have to go through every surface in the scene to make it glossy and reflective, but not too reflective of it looks like a mirror.
MATERIAL RESOLUTION:- You're so close, too close. So you can often see the pixels, you don't want to see pixels and I don't mean the movie. TBH you don't want to see the movie either.
LIGHTING+SHADOWS:- Good Luck! It has to be dark but not so dark you can't see anything, even though in reality you wouldn't be able to see anything.
SALIVA STRINGS:- First time I've used them, first time I've figured out it's very easy to make them look like glass rods, also take a billion years to render them, to find out they look wrong.

OK rant over lol. I actually think mouth shots are easier and quicker to do in Iray than 3delight. But I do need to find a tutorial on saliva strings, some people seem to do them so easily so I must be missing a trick.

Oh yeah it's tonnes easier in Iray.

I've spent a good time playing around with it actually and gotten some pretty decent results. An example here:

If you want to swap methods drop me a PM. Always happy to share.
