Here is Exhibit B,The pic looks good, I'm sure many will like it but, it still looks flat. I have the specular light working well though the gloss on her lips shows up nice, but it doesn't have a good 3D depth to it. I'll tinker away though and I'll get it right.
Sorry about the model, she isn't finished yet, she still has rather mannish hands and the hair was just something to throw on so she wasn't bald. lol.

Looking good so far, but I can see what you're saying about the lip gloss. Perhaps you could apply a transparent skin texture over the gloss texture to make it look a bit more realistic?
And while I'm thinking of it, a real lighting challenge would be an internal stomach shot, maybe a tiny using a flashlight or something.
