Description

The Dweck evolved on the planet Culvic. Unlike most planet the usually cold planet of Culvic life didn’t start on the surface but in underground caverns that were geothermically heated. And because of that the planets life evolved in darkness, even the plants are thermosynthetic rather than photosynthetic. Subsequently all animal life on Culvic is blind, the Dweck are no exception. The Dweck have exceptionally good hearing and very large brains that process the sounds like sonar. In addition to their hearing, they also have a strong sense of touch mostly through their antennae and two extended fingers on each hand. As far as their diet goes, they prefer to eat arthropods and small vertebrates, usually live. They communicate through various sounds made from their many nostrils and have a write system based on touch which they can also read through their sonar. They are capable of bipedal and quadrupedal walking.
Culturally the Dweck do not were clothing unless a job requires it, such as venturing up to the cold surface. Though they look primitive they’ve actually reached their information age, with a system of cables that stretch through out their worlds cavern. Even though they haven’t reached space flight yet, their technology in regards to sonar are even more advance than the space-faring races.
